Got Questions? 👀

  • Definitely not. I do primarily work with writers who have ADHD, but I also have clients who are struggling with things like chronic illness, are new parents, have PTSD, or who have found that, for whatever reason, traditional writing advice doesn’t work for them. The most important criteria for working with me is for you to make sure that my teaching style and personality are a good fit for the way you learn. The easiest way to find that out is by registering for an ADHD AMA call (link at the top of the page).

  • I work with folks who have ADHD or executive dysfunction for any other reason (cPTSD, perimenopause, postpartum, etc) and help them address how creative despair is impacting their ability to commit to their work. I also help writers finish — we develop concrete, practical, sustainable systems and processes for drafting, revision, and seeking publication, while still maintaining the generative pipeline so your new ideas don’t wither on the vine.

My speciality is working with fiction writers, but I have also worked with poets, memoirists, screenwriters, and am open to working with any artist.

  • ADHD AMA for Writers

Every month, I host a group zoom call limited to 50 attendees where I answer questions about how to navigate the creative process when you are dealing with ADHD symptoms and/or struggling with creative despair. (click here to register)

    Creative Coaching

I do this work by meeting with writers over zoom, either monthly or twice per month. I develop a unique plan for each writer, based on my own method of assessment, anchored in the writer’s goals for their specific project or their writing career overall. Every meeting, we set sustainable and realistic goals for the month, and check in to see how those goals have progressed since the previous meeting. At every single coaching session, I meet you where you are — regardless of what kind of month you’ve had, even if you haven’t met a single goal — and we adjust the plan as needed to ensure that it’s working for you and you continue to make progress. I will read up to ten pages of your work prior to each coaching session and give verbal feedback.

    Book Coaching

Book Coaching encompasses everything in creative coaching, and **also** includes editorial support. This means I will read and comment on up to 8k words of your manuscript, plus additional documents like outlines, character sketches, etc. (up to 10 pages standard format).

    Developmental Editing Add-On

For current coaching clients, I offer an add-on for developmental edits on a full manuscript. Prices for this add-on vary based on manuscript word count. I do not accept manuscripts from clients I have not coached. This add-on is offered subject to my availability (I love developmental edits but they are time consuming!). If you are a current client, I will send you a quote for a developmental edit on request.

  • The ADHD AMAs group zoom calls cost $15-$50 (sliding scale, pay what you can afford).

Creative Coaching and Book Coaching vary in price, from $100-$600 per session. Email me and we’ll discuss your needs.

  • The ADHD AMAs are a group zoom call I host monthly for creatives with ADHD or executive dysfunction. You can presubmit questions, or ask them live during the call. You bring your problems, I provide answers. The calls are recorded, and you’ll get a copy of the recording and the transcript after the call. The call is limited to 50 attendees, but even if only one person signs up, I still hold the call. If ADHD/executive dysfunction is negatively affecting your creative process and you haven’t found solutions, this is the place to start.

  • Creative Coaching does not include editorial support. Book Coaching does include ongoing editorial feedback on a specific project, in addition to the support of Creative Coaching.

  • - I do not do proofreads

    - I rarely do copy edits, and only for existing clients

    - I only do developmental edits on full manuscripts for existing clients

  • All clients start by learning the foundations of my process via the ADHD AMAs for Writers. This is the best way to ensure you like my style and we’re a good fit, and to make sure you have the foundations in place before moving to 1:1 coaching. After attending an AMA (or several!) you may choose to sign up for Creative Coaching or Book Coaching. Or maybe you’ll just keep coming to the AMAs, read my rambling newsletters, OR decide “this ain’t the person for me!” (And that’s totally cool! I’m happy to refer you to someone who is a better fit for you. I have access to an enormous catalog of certified book coaches who specialize in lots of different areas, and am always happy to make referrals.)

  • Email me and describe what you’re looking for right now. I may be able to schedule a quick call with you, provide a custom package, or refer you to another coach or resource that’s available to help you right now.

  • AMAs are usually scheduled at 11am mountain time on a Friday. If you’re not able to attend live, you can still register for the AMA and presubmit a question. I will answer your question on the call, and you’ll get a copy of the recording sent to your email after the call ends. If you still need help, you can contact me (via my contact page) to schedule an individual coaching session, or ask for a referral to a coach in your time zone.
